Wyatt joined BIA in June, 2001, after many years of institutional equity brokerage experience. He began his career on Wall Street with Rotan Mosle, a Houston, Texas-based firm. In the early 1970’s he moved to Texas to pursue international institutional sales for the firm. After Rotan Mosle was acquired by Paine Webber he joined the firm of Lovett Mitchell Webb.
In 1989 Wyatt formed Williams MacKay Jordan & Co, an institutional boutique based on research of the energy sector and companies headquartered in the Southwestern U.S. In 1997 Williams MacKay Jordan merged with Sanders Morris Harris, a regional Texas firm.
Throughout most of his brokerage career Wyatt headed research efforts and institutional sales, personally marketing American capitalism in some 14 countries around the world. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, the American Institute of Foreign Trade, and Virginia Tech with a degree in business administration. To stay abreast of energy developments throughout the world he is a member of the James Baker Institute of Public Policy at Rice University.
