Geoffrey has been a London-based investor relations practitioner for more than 30 years. He has written widely on the subject and his speaking engagements include the Society of Investment Analysts in London and the National Investor Relations Institute, Orange County Chapter. He formed BIA in 1995 together with a number of former colleagues from Prudential Securities.
From 1988-1995, Geoffrey was Manager of US Equity Institutional Sales for Prudential in London. He also served as joint Managing Director of Prudential-Bache Capital Funding Ltd. (the UK equity stockbroker), a Director of Prudential in London and Managing Director of Institutional Sales in Europe.
Geoffrey came to London in 1970 as an institutional salesman for Smith Barney & Co. and later positions included duties as Deputy Manager of the Merrill Lynch London Institutional office and Managing Director of E.F. Hutton International Associates in Europe. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service where he majored in International Relations. Geoffrey served on active duty with the US Naval Reserve from 1966 to 1969 and holds the rank of Commander.
He is a director of various UK and international companies and is a consultant to Albert E. Sharp Investment Management in Stratford-Upon-Avon. He also is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers.
